I found three 12" strips of the Beautifully Penned printed paper in my scrap bin. By cutting them into 4" pieces, I was able to make three cards using contrasting colors and ribbon scraps. One of the weekend retreat stamping participants gave everyone a 12x12 sheet of printed paper with donuts on one side and ice cream cones on the other side. Several of us designed donut cards using this printed paper and other supplies. The stamped images came from the current Stampin' Up! Circle Sayings stamp set and an older, retired stamp set from the Sprinkled with Love Paper Pumpkin kit. Some of the donuts were cut with the Deckled Circle dies and some with the Decorative Circle and a round 1" die. #stampinup #stamping #donut #sprinkledwithlove

Some chose a cafe setting while others did a bakery and another did a book store. Coloring was done with Stampin' Blends or colored pencils and a blender pen. I challenged weekend stamping retreat participants to design and make a rocker card. I provided instructions and the Stampin' Up! Deckled Circle dies and here is the result. The designs include everything from a Panda bear on an ice floe, to a bright batch of flowers, to a truck in a tropical paradise, to a bee, and a sweet chunk of watermelon. Challenge accepted!
This easy design uses a 6x6 sheet of Meandering Meadows printed paper with only a narrow strip left over. And the printed paper coordinates with several cardstock colors (Crushed Curry, Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, and Garden Green to name a few). A vertical greeting from the Courage & Faith stamp set fits well with the design.
