Stampin up Spotlight on Nature Dies Card 1 |
T
he projects for this weekend feature the Spotlight on Nature dies. These 12 circular dies have beautiful detailing around the die perimeter so you can use these to add depth and dimension to your projects.
In this card, I used the dies to cut a vellum circle then topped it with the flowers and saying from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set. The printed paper is from Countryside Inn.
Supplies needed:
Project Recipe:

Cardstock
• Boho Blue: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, score at 4-1/4
• Basic White: 5-1/4 x 4 for inside, 3-1/4 x 2-1/4 for flowers, and scrap for greeting
• Fresh Freesia: scrap for back of greeting
Vellum: 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 (circle die-cut)
Countryside Inn DSP: 5-1/4 x 4
Embellishments of your choiceFold cardstock, placing fold on the left. Adhere a Basic White panel inside the card. Adhere the DSP on the card front. Die-cut vellum circle.
Die-cut the flowers from Basic White cardstock and color with Fresh Freesia and Mossy Meadow Blends. Using Dimensionals, adhere to the vellum circle then adhere the circle to the card front.
With black ink, stamp a greeting on Basic White cardstock and trim to 2-7/8 x 5/8. Back with Fresh Freesia cardstock that is 3 x ¾. Adhere to the lower edge of the vellum circle with Dimensionals.
Add embellishments as desired.
